About the game
Backrooms: Exit Protocol 0 is a first-person horror escape set in Level 0, the yellow-walled maze everyone knows. You need a keycard, you need the puzzles solved, and you need the exit to open before the monster finds you.
A run mixes three things: walking the corridors, stopping to work out a puzzle, and moving fast when something is on your trail. Crouching keeps you low, running covers ground but gets loud, and the camera zoom lets you peek ahead before you commit. The tension comes from doing careful thinking while something else is hunting.
How to play
- Move with W, A, S, D or the arrow keys; Space jumps, Shift runs and C crouches.
- Press E to interact and pick things up, R to drop an item, Tab for the menu, and hold the right mouse button to zoom the camera.
- On a phone, the joystick moves you, the jump, run, crouch, drop and E buttons sit on screen, and the right side turns the camera.
