About the game
Backgammon pits two players against each other with dice and a board full of chips. Each turn you throw the dice, then shift a chip forward the amount the throw gives you. The match ends when one side has taken every chip off the board, and that side wins. Dice swing single turns, but planning across the whole match carries more weight.
How to play
- Throw the dice at the start of your turn, then move a chip the amount the roll shows.
- Take all your chips off the board before your rival clears theirs to win.
- Rolls go either way; good decisions over many turns matter more than one lucky throw.
