About the game
Solitaire Klondike - Treasure Island takes the classic Klondike deal and sets it on a pirate island. Your task is to get the whole deck into four piles, one per suit, each running from the ace up to the king. Aces go down first, then twos, threes, and so on.
Seven piles sit on the board, and cards travel between them. An empty pile only accepts a king, and a card can sit on another that is one rank higher and the opposite color. Whole runs that already alternate in color and rank can be moved together, which opens up room for planning. The deck can be gone through as often as you like, so you can check the next move before making it. The round closes once every card rests in its suit pile.
How to play
- Pick up a card and drop it on a pile where it fits.
- Build each suit pile upward: ace, two, three, up to king.
- On the seven board piles, place a card on one that is a rank higher and the other color; only a king starts an empty pile.
- Move runs of cards that alternate in color and rank, and go through the deck as many times as you need.
